A day of sketching on the stoop of a friends shop in Carthage lead to this painting which I later created in the studio. That particular day I set up to paint under the awning causing passer byes to stop and take notice. The weather turned and the mist from the soft rain blew across me and the watercolor sketch refreshing me and adding unexpected happy surprises to my watercolor.
