Unraveling the thought process of the artist, what a tangled mess, but here I will share the frenzy I call inspiration.

There Goes Peter Cotton Tail
A funny realization suddenly hit me in the face today as we were shopping for groceries. All the colorful eggs, chocolate bunnies, egg dying kits and small trinkets didnt find their way into our cart as our children are now grown and making their own plans for Easter. No need to buy a ham or spend hours in the kitchen making the perfect side dishes and deserts. No last minute search for matching socks before we head off to church. And then upon return, deciding who hides the eggs. What energy, is wrapped up in hope. We would almost have to hold them back before the egg hunt. One of our favorite memories is when an “Easter Bunny” hopped from egg to egg investigating – the kids were certain the bunny left the eggs there- a little magic never hurt anyone. Fingers that once were adorned with black olives making little hands look like that of a tree frog now type term papers and support friends- hands once covered in egg dye bring music to the masses and hold a child of their own. So, the magic isn't gone- it is transformed into a new generation of love, kindness and generosity as they lend support to friends and carve out a life of their own. So when you sing the song to your little one, know the magic of the moment lives on. So even though we all have our own plans for this Easter- the excitement is still there. I dont know if the chocolate bunnies in the candy isle are safe - I may have to adopt a mail order celebration. So watch out kids......Here comes Peter cotton tail.
