Commission, Portrait of the Soul- SOLD. This piece began when the client requested I do a portrait as a gift for her husband. It was not just a likeness she wanted, but rather a piece that embodied the essence of who she is and the path taken to get to hat point. Many influences played a part in this process including the love of her children, music, and new husband. Readings from her favorite writer gave her permission to reinvent her life and blossom into the strong unwavering individual pictured.
